Crisis Intervention

Crisis Intervention – based on the assessment, New Horizons CHS staff will provide short term therapeutic interventions to help to: 

• Cope with immediate stressors and lessen client’s suffering.
• Identify and use available resources and client’s strengths.
• Avoid hospitalization.
• Develop action plans.
• Begin to return the client to their baseline level of functioning.
